The thing with having the internet available is that I can download books and will always have something to read when stuck waiting somewhere.

I try to second-guess my GPS and get horribly lost. I get lost in the town my friend lives in even though I lived there myself for a year.

It does in my case - I read almost exclusively on my Kindle now.

WHY DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS??!

I love Lost Horizon. I'd really like to get that on DVD. The VHS I had used stills in a few spots where the picture had been lost and I wonder if they were ever able to recreate it.

It's a fantastic poster - I really love Art Deco.

I'm not embarrassed to to say I'm going to see it!

The Fireys did not age well at all, you are correct. It was pretty bad even in the theater.

I love this movie so much. I'm looking forward to seeing it again on the big screen - Fathom Events is bringing it to the theaters. I'm so glad someone here (sorry, can't remember who!) mentioned Fathom to me.

I've been reading Margery Allingham's Campion mysteries which I like. I've also read some by Dorothy Sayers and a guy named E.R. Punshon which aren't bad. Also, Georgette Heyer has about 12 mysteries, most of which are worth reading. You just have to mentally block out the occasional n-word in all of these.

Something about your mom, probably.

I feel like I've read a couple of those mysteries. I'll have to see what they have at the library.

I haven't re-read the Merlin books by Mary Stewart in a long time, may be time for another read soon.

I love travel books, but I didn't see that one at my library. Oh well.

Still working my way through Midsomer Murders. I'm on season 11 of 17. I'm also on season 3 of my Buffy rewatch.

I wish I could recommend something for you but we are switching from Financial Edge (Blackbaud) because it is too big and way over-powered for what we need as a small private school (not-for-profit). I didn't actually get a vote on the accounting software.

Wake Up Call - Nothing but Thieves
What I've Done - Linkin Park
Cover Me - Bruce Springsteen
Pumped Up Kicks - Foster the People
Come Together - The Beatles
Ain't It Fun - Paramore

Wow, that sounds sucky all around.

I am petrified of falling in the shower because I have one of those garden tubs, and multiple joint issues. I think I will have to ask the apartments to install a grab bar. I wouldn't think they would charge you for the repairs - it's not like you did it on purpose.

I just cannot deal with this Quickbooks accounting program. I've always hated it, and I don't know why we had to switch back to it after switching away from it three years ago.
