I always feel very trapped when I don't have my own car, so I sympathize.

There was a woman at one of my university jobs who had applied for the position I got, and I needed her to get paperwork to me every so often. We had words more than once, and whenever I'd let my frustration get the better of me, she'd send snippy emails to me, and cc her boss, my boss, and the Dean's office.

I read the newest by Robert Sawyer, called Quantum Night. I really like his writing. This one was a very-near future book about consciousness. I've read a couple of Georgette Heyer books - she's an author I really enjoy and Kindle Unlimited has some of her books.
