Scaling things down is exactly what a good Batman movie would do. Dark, quiet, thoughtful, detective Batman a la the Animated Series. Like film noir. Do it, Affleck. Direct the shit out of it.

I didn't see BvS and I don't care about any other superhero movies, but Batman is great, full stop, and because he's great I think it would actually be very cool if they just let Affleck do a faithful version of the character in a bunch of different Batman movies.
