HarbingerOfDuh is right. The real criticism or praise can only really happen once we see if Leo gets more diverse roles in the next few years and how he does with them. He's been sweaty professional guy ready to crack for too long but he's done pretty well with it.

I have also heard people say smiling, even when they don't want to, makes them feel better. But I think advice like that will typically make depressed people feel more depressed.

Zeke the plumber was the scariest shit ever. I don't even know if I ever finished that episode which probably made it worse. Horrifying.

Hey replicant, read The Lottery. It's great.

Yeah, that place is just okay. On the Louis website that fx has, there's a little section about the places he likes in new york that are used as filming locations and I think he calls it "the best crappy pizza in New York."

You should do the episodes of Growing Pains where Kirk Cameron is a dick and demands episodes like this because he gets too into god. The moral is to avoid Kirk Cameron.

Never noticed that before. It's that perfect mix of wisdom/apathy that Louis has going.

Agreed with all of the above being funny but the therapist stuff was also hilarious.

Saw this band live two years ago
In fairness I don't really know what the hell they've done since then, but they SUCKED.

10 years ago people would have been pissed at you for this. As things stand now, your opinion is perfectly respectable.

I know the word "hipster" gets thrown around a lot on here but I really know a lot of colossal hipster douchebags and I have heard the phrase "fuck the Beatles" many times. Edgy.

Jim as Boss
I thought this show was pretty brilliant back when it seemed it was all about good/cool guy Jim becoming bad/lame guy Michael, but if you watch those early episodes now, knowing Jim is just going to be happy and have a baby, and Michael's going to leave Dunder Mifflin (again), the whole show kind of sucks.

I know illegal downloading and getting everything from the internet are the norm, but I wonder how many genuine young musicians (like Ted Leo when he started out) will be dissuaded from trying to make it because of all of this stuff. As corrupt as some aspects of the music business were, I don't remember kids ever

How do you figure "games are not as universally accessible as movies and books are." Just wondering.

title popping up between jokes
Even though this show wasn't great (why is Christine Lakin there?), I think it has potential but only if they stop flashing the Kilborn File graphic on the screen between every joke. It's the most bizarre thing I've ever seen and kills any sense of timing Kilborn could have otherwise.

Yeah, this was great. I don't think I've ever read an interview on here with someone who seemed more genuine than Louis C.K.

Kyle, the Ninth Gate isn't awesome. It's terrible, sometimes even funny-terrible, but not awesome.

I kindly ask the rest of you Lincoln bashers to show yourselves the way out of these AV club comments. I wouldn't want this to get ugly.

Your description of Graceland sounds awesome.

I'll have to go back and watch this again. I just remember it feeling…off. Like the story strived for emotional weight but failed, and forgot about jokes in the process.
