Americans made Pooty Tang, the pinnacle of art and film.
Bill Murray is probably like anyone else, nice to some people on some days, less nice to some other people on some other days. You know, a regular, real human being like anybody else. Except he's also a hilarious genius.
Bill Murray is the most lovable guy on the planet. This isn't a subjective thing. If we could measure lovableness, Bill Murray would top everybody.

Like Zack, I thought the video for Fell in Love with a Girl was refreshing and great but what sealed the deal was Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground. Seeing that video on MTV2, with a bowler-capped Jack stomping around in the old house with the records scattered in the front yard was the kind of thing…
MTV on 9/11:
I have to hand it to MTV right now. These videos might cut into some of that sweet youth pregnancy reality show money.
Completely on board with the Crispin Glover idea. While we're at it, let's just let Crispin write and direct. Best movie ever.
Based on pitchfork's review, you'd think this record sounded like some late-nineties alternative radio sludge band. I don't know if the album is good but the songs I've heard don't sound anything like that.

The best part about Dr. Robuttnik's linked picture is that the tattoo becomes keyboard cat. It's all about the details.
If you watched a couple hours of Lifetime followed by the Hallmark channel and then punched yourself in the face, it would feel like the Holiday.
The new Thermals is great but I'm still not sure if it's as good as the last one. The kind of pop punk the Thermals play isn't the best kind of music in the world but it would be pretty tough to find anybody who does it better than them.
Queens is the money melon.
Completely agree that seventies radio was much more offensive than the stuff a decade earlier but I'd argue disco was not awful. Rather, it IS awful, considering that most of the music you hear the real, headband-wearing, mustachioed, college kid hipsters listening to today is essentially disco music. The "indie"…
The great Louis CK has done many things but one accomplishment towers above them all, the creation of Pooty Tang. Bless you Pooty.
The writers also decided that Doug's drug dealer son should disappear after the first episode.
Remember when die hard fought those terrorists and then die hard was like "yippee kay yay" after die hard escaped from those guys. Die hard is the best.
