Baby steps! Things are too crazy at the moment for him to pull out that baddass without everyone just laughing at him (I know he's already made it! He stashed it in his xbox console box for that perfect day and moment!)

Here's the thing Coulson's reactions are what is expected of a director of shield up until this point. He allowed Hunter carte blanche to do whatever it takes to get Ward after Bobbi's torture. He ignored Fitz lies and his excursions to random places even though he desperately needed him at work to tackle the threat…
The point was to look for a weakness not have a "Who got screwed the most by Ward talk" Bobbi didn't work with Ward long enough, if at all, to give much incite.
Mack is literally the only person in the cast who's been in shield long enough to be in charge and doesn't have a personal vendetta against Ward. How is that nonsensical?
well Hydra was running shit during that time so not likely he was getting any help from anyone in shield
I wasn't committed to the ship myself until I saw this episode! It's never too late to sail!!
Don't even get me started on Iain De Caestecker's performance tonight. Did you not feel his pain every time he flinched at Simmons screams??? I could literally feel his emotional war going on inside him!
lol Mack is "lousy in the field" the guy who infiltrated coulsons shield for 6 months, escaped while surrounded by coulson, went toe to toe with the teleporter guy, took on lash and survived without powers! Are you serious??
Wow I have no words for this grade……
Saw the grade smh moved on…..
