I finally got around to buying the DVD because I came across it on sale for dirt cheap so it's a bummer to hear that stuff isn't on there. I guess if I find the movie interesting enough I'll get around to buying the Blu.

I don't think that'd really qualify as a directors cut because Tinto Brass didn't shoot that stuff. Almost all of the explicit material was added by the Penthouse folks.

I had wondered about that. I was able to get the 4+ hour version on an import dvd a few years ago. Other than a 5-10 minute section with no English subs, it fit the bill. Would make sense with Criterion though in R1, given how many Wenders films they've handled, but I'm guessing beamish13 is right about possible…

Perhaps it's because I haven't seen much she's been in and thus my view of her hasn't been influenced by her performances, but I'm always a bit mystified by people acting as if Kristen Stewart is ugly. She may not be "hot", but she seems cute enough to me.

Ah, I see. I don't think there are any RC Willey's on the east coast so I wasn't aware of those. Though, being honest, I did see her on some talk show a few months ago looking as good as ever.

Wolf Blitzer provides more than enough personality for one network.

Has anybody ever seen Paige Davis and Samantha Brown in the same place at the same time? I feel like Paige must have screwed up her credit and got a dye job around 2006, and took on the Samantha Brown identity.

Jane Levy was really good in this episode. I think it can be tough to sell those emotional moments in a show like this, and I thought she really pulled it off. I was actually kind of stunned. I really like the show, but I wasn't expecting a dramatic moment that effective.
If this show is moved off Thursday, I can't imagine everything else isn't going with it to other nights/midseason. It may happen, but I wouldn't anticipate it being about anything other than the reality that this shows ratings decline means they want to totally re-brand the night. Keeping the other sitcoms on Thursday…
Well, it did air behind a Modern Family repeat a few weeks ago and drew a 2.0, which is higher than the last few episodes of Happy Endings that aired behind Modern Family repeats, with similar retention levels.
Hmm, so reading the comments section I see Burton's entered the point where a lot of people like to claim almost everything he did was a piece of garbage. Too bad. I was never the biggest fan of his films, but I just don't understand that notion. Suggesting things that share a similar style are the same is ridiculous.…
I've liked both. I think they're both used in small enough samples that it either lands and you find it funny or it just goes by quickly. I think the Eli stuff has worked better, but I've found both amusing.
