That does bother me, but hats just wouldn't work. People already have trouble telling the characters apart with such a large cast, covering their faces (which is what you'd do in an environment like that) would make it almost impossible.
So what are they gonna do for Theon's/Reek's story next season? Nothing important happens to him for the remainder of ASoS, right?
RE: what has been said about Valar Morghulis
Melisandre has always been focused on the end game. When she talks about Stannis being a warrior of light, wielding a mythical sword etc. That's not about succession rights, it's about the war between light and darkness. She clearly knows about the threat, but it seems she doesn't know when it will come.
@Tecumseh Ned did have a choice. Both Renly and Littlefinger council him to rule as protector of the realm. He could have seized Roberts "children" and declared for Renly, or he could have made peace with the Lannisters (marrying Sansa and Joffrey) and kept the whole incest business secret for blackmail.
Of course…
@Mikosqz Her father was crazy and very dangerous, but she doesn't know that (at least she doesn't know just how messed up he was). Her nephew and niece were just children, killed to wipe out the Targaryen line.
Just a little off the top.

No, they'll feed it to the goats.
Channeling the boondock saints with those two swords to the back of the head.
If only I cared about either of those characters…
"Will this incident somehow forge the Caesar that history knows?"
I guess he learned the value of soldiers who are unquestioningly loyal to you alone.
"Still, such respite was earned on the backs of the thousand or so rebels that died due to frostbite thanks to the harsh conditions in the mountains. "
> He's proven he's matured enough to handle it.
He's proven he knows how to operate it. Seeing how he used his gun on Shane, he doesn't know how to handle it.
I think Hannah did do it, and she's come up with the perfect defense in the Dexter universe: "Do you really think I'd be that stupid?".

I wonder what Hannah's trial would look like. The only piece of evidence suggesting she was involved in the murder is a pen which was mysteriously found weeks after the investigation had ended. Also, you'd have to be pretty stupid to leave a fingerprint on there.

So why did Merle kill Neil? You'd think that being a tracker and a hunter, and realizing that this is a serious situation, he'd at least wait until after they'd taken out Michonne. Either kill the kid and go back to camp, or keep tracking and use what you have to your advantage.
