It's interesting that Fuller calls the show sexless because to me it's the exact opposite. It's not just how damn attractive everyone is, it's in the shot framing and the power dynamics they embrace. It reminds me of like Wong Kar Wai or Alfred Hitchcock versions of sex, where it's all aesthetic and subtlety and never

I think it says something that the principal writing team went on to split between Supernatural and Breaking Bad — and that both sides seemed to have a learned what not to do because of X-Files mistakes.

Agreed Fakko — past the Scully-cancer-arc, the mythology killed the show but those monster in a bottle episodes are/were amazing.

What sucks is that while I liked the idea of it — a monster in the bottle movie, it was just terribly done — terrible acting, terrible plotting and just… so much terrible.

well said quantaman: "Hannibal defines friends as people who are interesting and rewarding to manipulate."

… such a great line, about 3 Days of the Condor and romantic b-plots.

Ever see Out of Sight? They have a great convo about them…

Like like.

Hands down yes to Javier Bardem - when you watch him, you just know there's another world going on in his head, PERFECT Nick. I would put him with Jessica Chastain because she holds up against alpha-actors but good call.

This is actually a fun game.

I spent a good long while after seeing "The Thin Man" trying to be her — which was a little odd for an awkward 5'10" middle school kid in the 90's but still — this is what being a lady should be:

I would watch this, sooo watch this.

Definitely in my top 10 favorite Simpsons lines. I know they still zing Fox and the crazy republican right but Phil Hartman brought that extra something special to it….

Let's not give the writers of Hannibal any ideas or there will very well be a murder site with a crowd with the most torches and pitchforks and I'm still recovering from the human mural.

Matt Berninger has long been in my top 5 so making him even more likable is just not a good idea for me…. but this does sound pretty great.

Or "Rush Rush" by Paula Abdul — infinitely better because it has vintage broody Keanu Reeves.

There's a lot WE I really liked and I thought Andrea Riseborough was amazing in it but yeah… she Sofia Coppola'd it and made it all about people who suffer but look reallllly good while doing so, which is what's important, not that there are masses around them being neglected and/or killed.

It also perfectly continued the theme that he's willing to be a grown-up for her, which shows how much he does care.

This season is driving me crazy — even this, I know there were supposed to be a lot of callbacks but whaaa? They build stuff well together, now they don't? Nick loves to put things with instructions together (high stakes legos) but now he doesn't believe in doing that? Jess used to love the crazy (chicago) but now she

Don't forget Watson on Elementary… lucy liu, so awesome.
