aa actually has the exact same success rate as doing it on your own, which is to say a terrible one. it's a religious program, which is fine for religious people, but a little suspect as court ordered treatment.

Oh yeah. That suggestion was wrong, the PR suggestion was right on.
It's a slogan with a rhythm track.
I don't think Beyoncé comes off as genuine at all to anyone other than her rabid fans. She seems like the most careful to never say anything genuine of all modern celebrities. I don't think Beyoncé is "herself" even when she's alone, and I think she keeps herself on film all day to not have to confront that fact.
I think you're all missing the part where he said pr pieces, created by the subject. I love music documentaries, which all of your mentioned counter examples (Cure for Pain, Better than Something, Don't Look Back) are. They are all made by other people with something to say or illuminate about the artist (although I…
Really? My wife absolutely loves her, but everyone else I know just feels mildy puzzled at the level of her fame. I don't dislike her in anyway, which I do for most mega-celebrities, but I have no idea why she is considered such a standout.
It's hilarious now.
It's getting pretty annoying. I wish they would just stop talkng about HOC at all. I love the Av club, but they come off so defensive on all this. It's a really good show. Even they seem to admit it. I don't know why the Av club has decided the fact that its not the best show ever makes it a total falure and that…
you can find it on vhs anywhere that sells used vhs for a buck. this is why I still have a vcr.
I just propose that they could actually really play then, but thought it was cooler to act otherwise. First few records are debateable.
While I agree that Chocolate and Cheese is #1, 12 Golden and Pure Guava are probably my 2 and 3, with GWS and Pod after that.
Unlike the replacements who's career is a tug of war between the fact that they are actually excellent musicians and their cool desire to not admit that to their fans.
What a bizarre statement: "They're the total antithesis to The Replacements." Surely the antithesis to the replacements is some soulless corporate rock band (like a Bon Jovi or Journey) not two scruffy fuck ups who huffed duster and made major label records on 4 track cassette.
One think would help is if you were notified whenever someone replied under you in a thread, instead of only when you initiate the thread. Then these conversations could continue indefinitely. People could come to things on their own schedule and still take part in the conversation, if they have interesting points,…

Tell that to Rahm.
Yeah I don't understand why its being taken as the end of episode by episode. Its not limiting options, its adding them. Now you can only watch a new show episode by episode. If they release it all at once, you can watch it however you want. You can watch 2 minutes a week. Break it down and really study it. You…
Yeah I would never suggest anyone watch Lost now, even though I was completely hooked for a while. I think its telling that so any people are arguing for the discussion as an integral part of the experience. That's because the show had nothing. Everything people thought up was better than the reality which is… none…
I think there are different levels of marathoning. I think of watching episode after episode in a row, the kind of thing you might do if your sick or have a stay at home vacation. I have occasionally done crazy amounts of this, like watching 20 hours of a show in a weekend. It can be fun but isn't as good as…
