The pilot did pretty much nothing for me.  The gangster with family issues is stale.  I'd much prefer it if Ray got a job at HBO and did voice-overs for sports documentaries.  Now that I'd watch.

I want to like this show so much but I have zero attachment to any of the characters. The relationship between Tom and his kids doesn't feel real, Tom and his wife doesn't feel real, Tom and Weaver doesn't feel real, Weaver and his daughter doesn't feel real, etc., etc., etc.
