I don't think it has ever been said that they went to school together.
I thought that line was just a perfect example of what I hated about this two-parter. It coasted on the back of callbacks to things that were funnier if they were never called back to.
I've really been enjoying this second half of the season. Like TJ Miller last week though, I'm sad that Brett Gelman was on the show and wasn't a part of the gang.
Agreed on all counts. I also loved Nick's part of the weak A story, which Erik didn't seem to.
Sorry, it hadn't occurred to me people might not want to hear that. It doesn't really limit possibilities a lot, I don't even know if he'll be a regular.
No, they didn't explicitly say there was a mole. Just that Saul wasn't one. That they were surprised to hear that being thrown around so much as a theory.
"But, if Brody did it and was able to leave an account of what he did, and it was publicized, this might actually have a remote chance of having a positive impact on the American psyche."
I don't think he had a problem with the performance, he had a problem with the concept of the performance. I did too. When you see an actor start to go really outward with a mental illness it usually ends up cringe-worthy and wreaks of i-want-an-oscar-this-year. I was glad to see Danes turn out such a nuanced…
(SPOILERS AHEAD)
Claire Danes and the producers have said definitively it isn't Saul. So could be.
Hickory dickory dock, Freud says you're thinking about my cock. Oooooh!
So much this.
At this point he is at the point where a lot of the comedian guests he can get are of niche appeal and/or not a particularly interesting interview. It makes sense that a lot of his recent guests are non-comedians at the same fame level of the people from his earlier episodes (you've heard of them but they're…
I didn't like the episode either but my complaint was more that it was boring. Also, as usual, Marc's research consisted of prior knowledge. In this case that was the time he read Kitchen Confidential, leading to a lot of questions about opinions Bourdain held ten years ago.
Absolutely. It weirded me out. Once Andy and Meredith started following them I figured it wasn't going there but when he first said "I was hoping you'd have something for me" or whatever I did a double take.
I edited out my post (I was hoping I got there before you read it, I guess not) because it came off as a bit more rude than I intended it to.
Edit: Yeah, just nevermind.
This is 2011, he can easily print another copy.
He was good but it's depressing that is the character TJ Miller is relegated to. He would fit into the extended cast fantastic and I know we'll never see the cult character again (nor do I have any desire to).
