This was possibly one of my favorite episodes ever. I was amazed to find out I am alone in this.

Yeah, I knew as soon as they had 30 chefs because TEXAS IS FUCKING HUGE that this was going to be bad. Actually I knew it was going to be bad when they announced Top Chef: Texas.

Yeah. You'll notice everyone in every time challenge ever says "that is barely enough time." And next season if they do the exact same challenge but add 20 minutes, the contestants will say the same.

To me the ending implied they WOULDN'T get together. Because they'd been so hung up on the feet thing and then it showed that they were able to get along just fine without their feet pointing too each other. Which I guess could also imply an even more sappy ending that they're meant for each other, cutesy feet stuff

I think that stopped being true within a year of The Parent Trap.

Sean O'Neal: My god woman, where is your pride?
Lindsay Lohan: In my work.
Sean O'Neal: That may be the funniest thing you've ever said.

I don't think it's been rough lately.

How is this article not about the auction for a Community walk-on? AV Club, I am doubting your allegiances.

After listening to CBB's Halloween episode I went back to re-listen to the first episode. I thought it might contextualize some of the jokes. That episode was somehow even longer and just as bland. I love the concept and a few of the most basic jokes were great ("Wearwolf. I think it might be pronounced Werewolf.")

On Cinema is definitely a sustainable podcast idea. Every time it pops up I laugh hysterically at how similar it is to the last episode and the fun facts that come up (it helps to be a big film fan, even if most of the films chosen should be familiar to everyone). They also seem to be aware of the need for even little

Blankets is one of my favorite books, comic or otherwise.

He was Zooey Deschanel's ex on New Girl.

There was no Hugh in the premiere but I absolutely can't wait to see him. He was my favorite on Masters.

Two unmentioned highlights:
- Brad pretending to be a scuba diver. "Is that a puffer fish?!"
- Fred Savage's best line. "If you want a savage you call Fred… Savage."

MAX - The Works
"Our classic cheese steak with over 50% more meat and cheese. Now that's a mouthful! Unhinge your jaw for this one."

I think you're letting the ending get you down too much when I don't think we're supposed to read it as all that dramatic. Just like we weren't supposed to expect Jonathan to die in the premiere. It's just the set-up to a punchline that comes later.

Unfortunately they don't seem to know that. Like having Kirkman on just totally ruins that. Not only can he not speculate because he already knows what is going to happen, he can't tell us because it hasn't happened yet. So just silence.

Has anyone else been watching Talking Dead? I'm a big fan of Hardwick and everyone involved but it has been teeeeeeeeeerrible. It seems like it is mostly network-side stuff though. The only really enjoyable feature (aside from the idle chatter of good comedians) is the "in memoriam" section which is the only part that
