I thought I remembered it.
I thought I remembered it.
No it wasn't.
Yeah, he was just speculating.
Where did you see they switched the order?
Yeah, I get what the purpose of the "and" is. But it isn't usually used when two actors are ostensibly sharing the lead. Especially not when there are only three credited characters.
"Thats how I met Brad." "Well, she didn't have me on there it was one of those guys from In Living Color."
Has Jennifer Hall been in the main credits for every episode? I thought the "and Will Arnett" was weird enough before. Now it's just starting to seem like they wish they had wrote a workplace comedy in which the main character was married.
That cafeteria set seemed like it took all of the little quirks of the rest of the sets and turned them up to 11. So weird. There were a couple of solid minutes where I thought it might be a restaurant or a part of the country club.
I would give this a B- either way. To me the Dalia/Tessa subplot was the only one that felt all that uncharacteristic and I expect that specific relationship to fluctuate a lot through the course of the show.
Then you need to go watch Eastbound and Down.
Re: Toasterland
I can get behind the idea that the breaks might be unnecessary but since they exist (and don't hurt us that much) I'd rather listen to some enjoyable music than comedy music which is, like you said, mostly terrible. Even at its best its as tonally different from the rest of the show as Nick Lowe.
At least you understand your priorities are out of whack.
Agreed.
I love hearing people talk about Jon Polito because everyone remembers him from something different. I always think of him as the FBI agent in Bushwacked, because I have terrible taste.
I thought the end of the episode was fantastic, with the reveals of Shadynasty and Russell. Or Mac's insistence that he couldn't tolerate anymore storytelling.
I thought the very end of the episode paid off pretty well but yeah, most of the flashback was terrible. I enjoyed their last flashback episode )The Gang Cracks the Liberty Bell) at the time but I've never had the desire to rewatch it, whereas I've seen most other episodes at least 5 times. Flashback-heavy episodes…
I never said it was overly offensive. Neither did the reviewer.
I don't understand why anyone would bother watching the show if the concept of the Leonard Maltin game was everyone's favorite part. The only reason I continue listening is that funny things often continue to happen/be said throughout. I mean, I like the game but I don't think it is enough to sustain the show. You're…
With 40 votes this thing just got past a C+. Clearly I'm not the only one who thought this was subpar for the show.
