Good to know. Canada doesn't have Chipotle (at least not anywhere I've seen) so I have a very small frame of reference. Because I think we can all agree that Steve Ells saying "fast casual" just means that Chipotle has already been said the contractual 4 times in 30 seconds and needs to be swapped out for something

I think that the "Food for your mood" slogan is great, her name still isn't perfect. I would never think to take my kids through the sinners and saints drive through.

lolno.

Title Goes Here
"Where a show like Top Chef can alter what the makeup of the final challenge is, here, it pretty much comes down to, "Improve your concept slightly, then hope the new audience likes what you've done.""

All of the Gallaghers Have Affairs
I haven't really found any of the episodes to be below average enough to say it hasn't been on its stride since day one. A few bad B stories I guess. I will agree it has been getting better by the week.

"Who likes Goodfellas?"
Even worse than Ball Sauce's instance that a love of Scarface was a good reason to cook for an Italian restaurant? When he yelled "Who loved grandmothers?!" into the room of graphic designers and assumed the cat lady who yelled out "I do!" would share the same similarities as a man who names

Ball Sauce
This episode really cemented the problem I had with the first episode. Their is a bit too much emphasis on the competition and too little on the investment. Maybe its happening and just being cut but if it isn't, the judges are going to end up eliminating some great people.

Re: Franz

Sad
I felt like he was really about to hit it big and he deserved it. A really funny guy. His episode of WTF not that long ago was great.

My only problem…
Was that it seemed like everyone automatically assumed Steve was just buying Fiona a house. Maybe the discussion is yet to come but the first thing of I thought of was "Oh, Steve bought a new house to fix the broken one" like he has done with everything else. Not "Oh, Steve wants Fiona to abandon her

@Jester

At least he got to wear the hat.

"I picked up a group of transvestite hookers. And you aren't allowed on the internet for two days."

Bob's Burgers
Had Oscar Nunez, Andy Kindler, Jack McBrayer, Kevin Kline, Jay Johnston, and Steve Agee tonight. I almost feel spoiled.

What?!
There was a video online a couple of weeks ago of Leonard Maltin talking about the Oscars with Tyson. The "joke" at the end was Tyson showing a clip from a movie of his called "The Pigeon Whisperer."

Oh. And did any of you watch that Bravo show Work of Art ? I caught a couple of episodes while it was on and I remember one challenge involved creating a book cover for a Penguin Classic or something. The cover that won was this gorgeous colorful and semi-abstract image for The Time Machine. I rushed out to buy a copy

Please cover this!
I think I will enjoy it as much as the first season of Top Chef. That's not to say I haven't enjoyed subsequent seasons but I haven't enjoyed them as much for their food as I have for their drama and fun.

I was kind of hoping the Mother was going to turn out to be a man. It would be kind of a wink at their history with women, make for some great lines with Dean, and get them to cast someone that isn't an America's Next Top Model hopeful.
