New Anchorman and Dodgeball. Welcome back to 2004.
Goddamn it, what's so wrong about liking a good pop record? Some of you act like Fall Out Boy chopped up your parents and fed them to you in a chili. This, along with each of their other albums, is a smart, hook-laced pop album, with a couple brilliant songs, a few duds, some great features, some sub-standard. It's a…
Nobody else pick up on the fact that Don wants to fuck his own Mom? All the brunettes he's been with, Midge, Rachel, Suzanne, and now Megan and Sylvia, are spitting images of Don's mother in the flashback, and every time they went to the flashback it was always before or after he banged Sylvia.
That song is definitely made for the radio, but for whatever reason was not noticed. I think the singles picked for this album may have been the two worst tracks off of it. Everyone who makes fun of Patrick should listen to Run Dry, that's a pop masterpiece with a Prince breakdown.
If you take out Vision of Division, I'll cut you.
The Ohio University show is going to be apart of the school's # Fest series. It's gonna be HUGE this year w/ them
WALDORF STORIES?!?!
Who's got soadbread? Pass me some, I've had too much sot-weed and got the munchies.
The guitar work on this record is so tight.
Say what you will about the song, Patrick's voice is sounding mighty powerful. Probably got some Rock Vocal Power lessons from Butch Walker.
It's amazing how good that first record is and how shitty the last two have been.
Red In the Face and Guy Walks Into An Advertising Agency are two of my favorite.
I hear a lot of Weezer's Pinkerton, Green Day's Insomniac, and Nirvana's Incesticide in this record. So Angsty witta capital-A
I just like how sludgey New York City Cops gets. As someone who plays bass, I just want to get drunk in a packed basement of people and bounce on that song.
I wonder if he's still pursuing that midget…
You old fogies cant give the band the time of day because they have the word "Vampire" in their name? Judge them based on their look? Doesnt that make you the hipsters?
It reminds me of Springsteen in his River era
The grunts in this song make it work for me. Idk, it just gives it this edge.
I'm more than familiar with the tracks you listed, but why when a conversation about the best Strokes songs comes up would you feel the need to include covers and solo tracks, other than to just earn some unspoken cred?
Nope. Sorry.
