The Marshall Mathers LP is one of the best albums of the decade. It's a masterpiece.

"Hollaback Girl" is one of the few things that exist that are actually worse than Family Guy. So it works out quite well.

I hate this new feature
Now I know what you're thinking. "So why read it then, fuck face?" And you know what… you're right. I'll stop.

I know The Hangover wasn't particularly popular amongst AV Clubbers, but I enjoyed the hell out of it and found it to be quite hilarious.

How the fuck is Haruhi Suzumiya an anti-hero? For that matter, how is Asuka an anti-hero too?

One Piece has been in the states for years now. It is pretty controversial here, as it was first released by 4Kids where it was horribly edited to make into a casual American children's show. I'm not sure who has the license now (maybe Funimation) but it's apparently been rectified and released in a less-edited

Thank you thank you thank you!

Gloria's white dress
Ohhhh baby…. Gloria is the bees knees.

The Outer Limits
I really liked the Showtime network "remakes" (whatever the term is) of The Outer Limits. Specifically, The Sand Kings was really great. Also, Leonard Nimoy was awesome in I, Robot. Damn, some of those were really great (and incredibly dark). Time to hunt down some DVDs!

The whole "cool Japan" factor died in about 2005. Manga and anime sales have been pretty sad since at least 2007 as well. So many American and even Japanese animation companies/distributors have already collapsed, gone bankrupt, or are on the complete verge of collapse. It's really sad now. DVDs stopped being sellers

The popularity of Manga is *not* on the rise
DC shut down their Manga division, Tokyo Pop pretty much only does OEL and Korean stuff because it can't afford Japanese stuff, and many others have laid off huge numbers on their staffs. Manga readership is down, down, down — just like the rest of the print industry. Also,

Amazing, Amazing work, Steven
I'm going to recommend this article to everyone I know that is in my age-range because I know how much they'll get out of it. This was a fantastic break-down.

I recently started working at Gamestop for the upcoming holidays (hey, it beats being unemployed) and we've already had like 25 copies of Medal of Honor traded in. It's apparently not very good. And with Black Ops coming out soon, I suspect we'll get even more trade-ins over the next two weeks.

If this film doesn't have…
…a transgendered hooker with a 9" penis, then I will be sorely disappointed.

Sounds like you want Mad Men to be something it's not. I suggest you stop watching the show if you aren't happy with certain aspects of it.

Dr. Faye just lacks something. She doesn't have the spark that Megan has. I will miss her because I really, really liked that character. It was hard for Don to let her go, but they're just not right for each other.

Don and Dr. Miller
What a cringe-inducing, difficult scene. I had been dreading it ever since his affair with the secretary. For Don, there's just something that Dr. Miller lacks. I couldn't help but feel her pain. Anyone who's been dumped knows exactly what she was going through. Just a difficult, difficult scene to

Well, I saw it last night
It was good. Very, very funny too. The Volcano was so disgusting I couldn't help but laugh. The Sweatsuit made someone in the theater puke, no joke. I even almost puked. Not as good as Jackass: Number 2 (which I feel is the best thing the group has done) but a very worthy successor. My only

Is it pretty much safe to assume that Tony Goldwyn dies horribly in every movie he's ever starred in? Ghost: impaled by glass, falls out of a building. The Sixth Day: gets his ass stomped in by Schwarzenegger. The Last Samurai: Speared through the chest by a mother fucking samurai sword thrown by Tom Cruise.

Also, no Jonah Hill cameo. Please, NO Jonah Hill cameo. That's really all I ask.
