My guess is that Renee ends up giving up the baby to Severide, and after Shay can't get pregnant they raise the kid together.  I don't think Shahi is going to be able to juggle doing Chicago Fire when she's now principle cast on a show in New York.  Plus did Renee just leave her other kid with her (ex)husband?
