Reminder that Hamilton's wealth was built on slavery, that he bought and sold slaves, and that he almost dragged us into a war with France so he could dress up and play soldier (all in the hopes that he could become another Cromwell IMO but that's more speculative)

Dear AV club,

did you?  the word dice doesn't even appear in the review.

my initial reaction was maybe a little curt.  here's my problem with this review, and with your reviews of a lot of the good parts of season 4: you totally miss the emotional beats of the episode and then, having missed them, pretend they don't exist.

a D?  after you gave the puppet episode an A-?

according to season 1, troy dislocated both his shoulders on purpose.  according to this episode, he faked hurting his knee.

at it's best, this episode is a mere shade of football, feminism and you's shirley/jeff storyline.  at it's worst it lobotomizes backstories.

well, they did forget.  he didn't hurt himself, he faked it.

had did troy go from dislocating both his shoulders to fake-breaking his leg?
