THis is false, less than 20 minutes

It's not just the amount of the commercials, it's about the lack of time to tell a story, and the amount of forced disruptions. These episodes compared to early ones are much shorter, and are forced to change directions artificially with the extra (3rd) commercial string

No, they added a 3rd break 2 seasons ago. So instead of 3 segments split by 2 commercial breaks, it is now 4 segments with 3 commercial breaks. They also lost another minute dropping the total show down to 18 minutes. When it started it was over 20 minute, and they have lost time each season.

The amount of commercials/promos on this show is getting pretty ridiculous. The show is still funny, but man, it get really annoying that it breaks every few minutes to go back to a commercial. How do you build a story like that?

One thing I think you need to point out is the number of commercials now on It's Always Sunny. I've found these new episodes way shorter comparing to earlier ones. The third commercial break is also really jarring and disruptive. I don't know how they keep coming up with coherent stories with only a few minutes
