Jamie (Richmond's aide) beat her up and was the one that put her in the trunk of the car. Terry (Rosie's aunt) was the one who put the car into drive and sent it into the lake - she was there because she was with Ames when Jamie called him asking for advice on how to get rid of Rosie. She didn't know it was Rosie in

Completely Unrealistic Mayoral Candidate in a Wheelchair won the election in a thriller that left both Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper speechless, thus upgrading himself to Completely Unrealistic Mayor in a Wheelchair.

Rosie accidentally overheard Evil Casino Owner, Evil Developer and Evil Campaign Guy discussing Evil and Sleazy political things. Evil Campaign Guy finds her and beats her up then drives to the gas station near the woods. Rosie escapes only for Evil Campaign Guy to catch up to her and beat her again, tossing her in

I was pretty frustrated after the first season but followed along here and there this season to see how it was resolve. There have been some good bits here and there (I like Linden and, especially, Holder, for example), but at the end of this episode and season, I just didn't care. Jamie came apart, Terry's

I wouldn't say it's a good show, per se, but it's alright for passing time and enjoyable enough given how little else there is, I think. Then again, I'm a pretty big fan of these types of stories (alien invasion/post-apocalyptic type stuff) and stuck with it last season even though I was rather unimpressed, so YMMV.

I agree with you on Confessions. B5's standalone episodes were generally weak to meh but I thought that one was actually rather good. The ending was a hell of a "wow" ending to me watching it for the first time.

They regularly consult with GRRM about whether changes would be problematic later on based on his own plans, so I don't really think that's really something worth being concerned about. A big problem with the prophecies/flashbacks/mysticism/etc. is that it works great on paper, especially when a budget isn't an issue

McGee (last week's reviewer) was wrong - she stays behind because Stannis is about to win and "Stannis won't hurt [her]" (oops). The scene wasn't necessarily conclusive, but obviously this week we see for sure that she didn't go.

I forget which of the Targaryens had it made but it was to make sure the king was "never comfortable on his throne" to keep him focused and ruling well or something.
