It's not like long hair is a universal fit for every girl or woman. I actually think that the short hair accentuates her facial type better than the long hair. I mean, you grow out of a buzz cut in a couple if weeks to the extent that you can have an actual hair-do.

The guy from Watchmen?!

I'm catching up to his and I absolutely love it, especially Jane and Rogelio (and of course the amazing writing that seems to be able to both satirize and fully appreciate the format of the telenovela).
Anyway, I just wanted to mention that Rogelio's referral to television as "the financial arts" is one of my favorite

You had to be there.

Am I the only one who practically ignores the contents of the review whilst looking for a "out-of-context-snippet - The A.V. Club" joke?

They have been for men, though.
Just to be fair. Not EVERYBODY suffered from it. Just most people.

"Remember Dany’s vision at the House Of The Undying? The one where she walked in the deserted throne room and it was snowing?"
If remember correctly, it was ambiguous whether or not the throne room scene entailed falling snow or falling ashes.

Didn't the first season have about 19 million viewers average?

I mean, yeah, drugs and all might take some of your credibility away….but…she got them thangs!

I actually think he was very popular in Scandinavia throughout the 70's with several albums ranking in the Top 5 of the respective countries' charts.

I hope this makes it a across the pond to Europe, wouldn't wanna miss it!

I saw The Darkness live recently and they rocked pretty hard. I don't completely get the issue a lot of people have with them.
No, they're not Radiohead, but I don't think they were ever trying to make art. They just wanted to make Rock music. Yes, they are derivative at times, but again, I don't think every Rock band

I was somehow reminded of that John Mulaney bit, where he told a story about a house party only for the police to arrive and him having to yell "SCATTER!!"

Don't look at me, I have no idea whatsoever. I don't even bother thinking about it anymore.

Oh, also in another twist: I'm fairly certain that, whatever plots there may be in S3, the mid-season finale will be another Flashback to the time Barry's mom died. Original Future Barry escapes with Kid Barry, Original Future Thawne wants to kill Mom, is watched by Future Barry 2 as Future Barry 3 prepares to tackle

This was such a mess that I don't even feel like commenting about what I thought was crappy and lay out some reasoning for it.

I'm just here to applaud you for the use of "Not Great, Bob", arguably one of the most usable phrases ever.

I think that really kind of only works with a coal-digging history. I doubt that the current king of a country in the middle of Africa would have that with a white guy from rural Kentucky.

Err, the episode was kinda okay, I guess (overall), but thinking about the process of how this was made is odd.

So the main criticism is that actors and actresses can not suddenly morph into other actors and actresses, thus questioning the entire premise of the franchise?
