I'm a newsie. Oh wait, that's actually a word already used to describe my profession. I would say though that cheftestant is slightly more clever than moneyer, because it combines two professions into a single descriptor.

Naw, they don't look loopy and vacant enough for target catalog models

A mocha rant
OK, I understand the association of taurine with fruit flavors, but caffeine? Not associated with chocolate? Somehow that reminds me of a particular coffee drink…mocha, I think it's called.
On a related but much more annoying note, it irks me when people call things "chocolate mocha" or "coffee mocha".

Oh, my bet's on Chris. Literally, if there was anyone around here who watched the show who I could bet with. Favorite: "by a landslide"? It's gotta be Chris.

'course, you didn't HAVE to supersize things. There are plenty of things on the Wendy's menu that don't require the use of the word "biggie" to order…

don't go dissin' on my Wonderfalls
"if you liked Wonderfalls, it's probably because you really wanted to see little plastic statues talking to Caroline Dhavernas."

thank you
for covering this show.
Yes, meth labs smell terrible. (I say this not from experience running one, but having written about the raid on one)

maybe because Christian is a natural "leader," in that he's bossy and pushy and takes credit for everything. Chris rightly realized that if their dress was a failure, Christian would likely get the boot, and he's avoiding the boot like he avoids subtlety.

hahaha
"nauseous and elitist about nausea"
that's great.

Wait just a minute here. Christian isn't a diva? Since when?

No one's reading these comments anymore
but I just have to plug Sinfest. Brilliant on top of entertaining on top of variety on top of blasphemy. I love it.

i think kevlar's kind of expensive, so to side one's house with it might not be practical.

Is there some irony or inconsistency I'm missing here?

That would be Chad himself, lounged back with his plastic member engorged? Sounds like a fun place to play some games.

Here's what wikipedia has to say:

That's the point. Wasn't nobody making money off VHS during the last strike either, but golly if money wasn't made off VHS after that. The writers aren't waiting until the last minute or until it's too late to say 'We're not making that mistake again.'

Right, 'cause Project Runway delves so far into the technical side of sewing.

To get that AV Club logo by your name, you work for them.

huh. Never really thought of Hitchens as hating anybody. Questioning widely held beliefs? Yes. Posing hard-to-answer questions? Certainly. Hating? Not so much.
