Beyond the baaad characters, my biggest issue with the book was its unending listing. It was so frustrating how it constant referenced the '80s just for the sake of checking a reference off a list, with no bearing on the story or characters.

I was in Detroit for Birdemic, and the movie theatre had cane sugar Faygo in glass bottles. It tasted worse than regular Faygo, which I guess just kinda makes sense considering that it's made by the people who make Faygo.
