I do. I am probably in the minority opinion here, but I want to see these characters continue to fight and hope even though every single turn they've made has hopelessness at the end.

If they happen to win the titles they should have them in a couple of vignettes having a night on the town full of 19th century tomfoolery.

The charm of Dumb and Dumber (and even in the sequel, to a lesser extent) was that even though they changed by the end of the movie, they were still Harry and Lloyd that we enjoyed the whole movie.
