I haven't really read any modern duck comics. Some of the Italian duck artists do some interesting artwork. But I have no idea about whether the stories are worth reading. My funny animal reading list (apart from Barks) mostly consist of Usagi Yojimbo collections and Lewis Trondheim's autobio stuff.
