I lived in boston at the time, and yeh, the bombing was horrible.
but you know what was more horrible? the media coverage constantly replaying it.
but the most horrible was watching tanks roll into the suburbs and hearing hundreds of rounds of gunfire after the entire city was on lockdown. all for one dude.

wicked pissah death penalty

well, the plane did leave from boston, so….OMG, Wahlberg was in on it the whole time!

you're right, it might not be the most efficient thing to do.
but i'd still prefer helping a local organization keep their doors open or their lights on than donate to the HRC.

um… there has been debate as to how effectively the HRC addresses the needs of the community - the LGBT community, that is. which, to be fair, is always a challenge for any large corporate organization.
IME, it has always been more effective to donate to a local LGBT organization than a national one…you know, keep it

good for them.

i hope super nintendo chalmers shows up this time.

I thought it sounded more like Curtis Mayfield than marvin gaye.

L7's 'pretend we're dead' is also very similar to the Suicidal song

stevie nicks has mentioned that 'stand back' is directly lifted from 'little red corvette.'

always thought that Mayer was ripping off Curtis Mayfield.

yes.
but the first chapter of 'veronika..' is hilarious, so there's that.

I think any region in the world right now could kick Hollywood's pants off with the quality of its films.

I don't watch awards ceremonies nor do I care about them, but I do appreciate that a lot of people in LA depend on them for a major source of income every year. so big-up to all the backstage crew.
