I have been playing drums since I was a kid, I have tons of Rich on video, studied the hell out of it, and I am still fucking amazed watching clips of him. That said, Bellson was in his own right, incredible.,,saw him live a few times. And come to think of it. Carson was a closet drummer…took a few lessons from

That's not Carson, that's Kim Chan…great actor.

His show was syndicated, one of the first to do so I believe, and for a while there was fucking huge. It was those young eyeballs they wanted, the "Mtv" generation. May have even put a shit sax player in office.

Agreed…well done.

"You crossed the line. People trusted you and they died. You gotta' go down"
…always makes me laugh. They should have cast Winona Ryder in the part, or make that Horowitz, it would have been just as interesting. Actually Lori Petty and Reeves bouncin' lines off each other is like the "nexus of the universe"

"Dark Lady", "Robot Man"…Uli Jon Roth man. That band never recovered without him, regardless of fame.

Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?…get it, great fucking record.

Nilsson
I saw that Harry Nilsson doc a few months back, great btw. and I was pretty familiar with much of his output, Nilsson Schmilsson, Pussy Cats, the Lennon connection, etc. I mean so so many of those songs I grew up with, but the doc lead me to dig up everything I had never heard…Spotlight, Pandemonium Shadow

Four Lions
And a few docs….

It's ok.
He'll always have Rudy.

King for a Day…Fool for a Lifetime and Disco Volante are two of the best records of '95.

If we're talking unadulterated garbage from the era…
What about Silverchair and Collective Soul? And in the words of John Lydon…"What the fuck is a Silverchair?"

Breakups
There are some great moments in the series, that clip I had not seen, really good. As is this one - http://vimeo.com/16501155
Emily Wilson is hilarious.

With Mapache In the hot tub.

Midnight Cowboy
Psychedelic orgies, anyone? There's a really fucked up one in Coogan's Bluff too, now that I think of it.
