The Sterile Cuckoo….her first film I think, amazing performance.
Tommy Lee Jones…
from "The Park Is Mine". No one knew, I looked ridiculous. I would have had better luck goin' as Yaphet Kotto.
Bob Mapplethorpe, potential get-away driver. He's growin' an entire crop of marijuana plants in his parents back yard.
SNAKE….
Snake Plissken.
Johnny…
from Mike Leigh's Naked (1993) A right cunt!
Yeah, it's Ethan Edwards from The Searchers….and later Eastwood as Joe, Coogan, Callahan, Pvt. Kelly, The Stranger, The Preacher, Josey Wales, Thunderbolt…et, etc.
What about…
Rollover…or how about Millennium?
Emily Haines gives the worst cameo performance you have ever seen.
Yeah, I actually lived there for a short time. I never once saw a fight, a gun, no car crashes….well no, I was in a Taxi acciedent, but it was not very cinematic. But you are so right Jimmy, tons of hookers, hookers and alley grease.
Agreed, all that material works. It just works, great tone to the film. And I had to dig up some Wire, who I hadn't listened to in years that week, after seeing it. "Dot Dash", such a jam.
Saw this and…
I have to say, really impressive. It does not let up, just solid filmmaking. But I will say, interestingly enough, if there is a weak link, it's Edgar Ramirez. I just found the performance all over the place. Sometimes he owned it…and sometimes he just looks a bit lost in the role.
American Boy is fucking amazing, just threw that on the other night. Great to fall out to. Cannot say enough.
Great interview, love this guy
No, never done anything. At least, not to my knowledge. I once took a bunch of goofballs by accident. They were in a little bowl at a party. I grabbed a hand full and went to town. That was New Years Eve. I didn't have a coherent thought till February - Borgnine on drugs
Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp
But but we all know there was a reason for that.
The Life of David Gale
Remember that piece of shit? It was ruined for me by some magazine article I read, but I later saw it anyway…didn't matter, it ruined me. Garbage!
Yeah, thought so as well. Saw it on opening weekend.
But like most people I have never seen Turner & Hooch on cable.
Word…and how about 3D? I go to movies, I do, but I think the last 3D movie I saw was Jaws 3. I still have the glasses. No, wait, I saw that U2 concert film a couple years back, but it sucked, there was way too much U2 in it.
I just have not gotten out to any of these movies as of late, not that I won't. I'm just a bit…
What about "Dream Police"? I bet your mom would love it. Just don't ever let her hear "The Flame".
John Carpenter
Really…what are you doin' John?
