Agreed, and really makes sense that it was. Have not seen that in years.I think he (Gilligan) also wrote the episode "Drive", a favorite of mine, with Cranston in mind.

Rick Shapiro - Unconditional Love

Yeah, Elam, an old favorite.

I still have the T shirt somewhere…..
and guess what? I'm sure it still smells like fucking tar and or chemical. Remember that?

Yeah…agreed, and able to to make a movie that is almost impossible to descibe to someone, "Q". I've tried.

I do the same thing, but in a basement listening to Ventolin.

Yeah, Gazzara is great in it. It's one of those movies that they would run every now and again thru the mid 80's (the height of Nancy's ridiculous Say No! campaign) A bit afterschool - Reefer Madness, but pretty daring and gritty, 70's style, freaked me out as a kid.

C'mon man…
The Death of Richie.

You are spoiled…that is awesome. Yeah, a non mini Kiss band with a loose cannon Gene that looks more like Gene than Gene, and a shit talking high strung black Paul! And the focus on a Queen fan whose life is turned upside down because The Queen cover band he loves is calling it quits. Totally real Spinal Tap moments.

In that case, any of the Airport films….and your day is called.

Yeah, didn't know that that has been running on cable. I have the DVD, and have not watched it in a couple of years. Simply, I think, because it really is pretty fucking sad. Or at least I found it to be. As is "Raw Ramones", "We're Outta Here" and more recently, "Hey, Is Dee Dee Home?" and "Too Tough to Die" that

Yeah, for a couple of years there, everytime I turned on the goddamn box, The Fugitive was on…it's probably on right now.And it was always that Julianne "he saved his life you know" Moore scene. Like your whole life revolves around making damn sure you see 5 minutes of 90.

Hell yeah Vic, and I'll add The Great Escape…and that'll take up a goddamn afternoon.

Tom, second only to Eddie Vedder doing his very best Keaton eyebrow impression in that awful video for that awful song "Jeremy". Go back and watch, it's great, he outbrows him.

Yeah, The Untouchables is not bad, alot of that I think has to do with Mamet, but I'd say Blow Out and Phantom of the Paradise = free pass. And of course you got Dressed to Kill, Sisters, Body Double, Carrie, The Fury, Obsession and the early De Niro films.

One of the best DVD commentary tracks I've heard btw, Carpenter and Russell…just open conversation.Same with the Thing, solid.

Agreed. Carlito's Way…shit, Wise Guys is a better movie than Scarface. The original 1932 Hawks-Muni film on the other hand, is amazing.

"Tell him I'm fucking coming!"
