those others are pretty terrible, but I like the lyrics to Steal My Sunshine.

Believe me, Hipster DBag, you really don't need to worry about losing every shred of musical credibility you have.

yeah i guess we have a way of conveniently forgetting shit like that when we talk about how awesome the '90's were.

But you also have plenty of super-pussified generic indie rock to choose from to show how non-mainstream you are!

They do what they wanna do
Say what they wanna say
Live how they wanna live
play how they wanna play
dance how they wanna dance
Kick and they slap a friend
THE ADDAMS FAMILY!

yeah that's a good counter-example. Also this is only true for their 90's/00's stuff.. I don't think they did this in the 80's.  So we see "The Fly" off Achtung Baby, (which is a good song, but certainly not the greatest off that album), "Numb", and "Boots" or whatever the shitty song off the new one was, and

yeah i was a little confused by that one as well.  I seem to recall DM being pretty consistently popular during the late 80's early 90's.

"Numb" is a good example of my theory that U2 always picks the worst, or at least one of the worst, songs off the album to release as the lead single.

I'm kind of surprised that album sold so well considering I've never met anyone, ever that considered Kenny G as anything but a joke.

Lemon is a great song.  Kyle Ryan has no ears.

was that comment from the "Worker and Parasite" video?

that's the way i see it.  I try to take a zen-like approach to shit like this.  It's like the shit that sucks just lets us appreciate the stuff that's awesome that much more.  Plus it gives us another ass-hat to laugh at.

yeah i've been watching those classic Siskel and Eberts as well.  They just did a good one about the top grossing, best, and worst movies of '78.  Man did Jaws 2 look shitty on that one… and i used to love that movie as a kid.  Just goes to show you kids are stupid I suppose.

i haven't seen a whole lot of his stuff but I checked L'age d'or out from the library and it was pretty tight.  Some of the stuff in that movie is still pretty shocking even to this day and it's quite funny in parts.  We need more surrealism in movies.

yeah the Scarlet Letter was the worst book I had to read in high school.  Even worse than A Separate Peace.

was he in the original?  how did I forget about that?

that's what he gets for not hailing to the chimp!

How about Scarface?  How many jackasses out there saw Tony Montana as someone to emulate and look up to even though he shoots his best friend, and he should have listened to Frank after all.

I dunno.. I liked the Pearl.  Don't really understand all the hate it gets around here.

OD by ham sandwich you mean?
