My dad used to say "The girl said to the sailor." I guess that's pretty much equivalent.

Guess I live in a more progressive area because I don't remember any walkouts from Bruno. It was a full house too.
once upon a time i used to work in a theatre as well, and we did the refund thing within the first 20 minutes I believe. First 20-30 minutes seems fair to me, but after that, just fuck you.
to be fair though, Natty Light is a shitty excuse for a beer with one of the more obnoxious ad campaigns out there (and for a beer, that's really saying something).
thanks, guys! Yeah that's an example of a good 90's one-hit wonder… i always forget the artist, but Robotnik's coming correct with the knowledge!
to be fair, I really haven't heard a lot of Cake, but I really hated that "Going the Distance" song. The song they played in the Sopranos episode (I think it's called "Frank Sinatra") I have to admit I do kind of like that one.
meh… i think i'd rather hear that "who sucked out the FEEE-ALING!" song.
Felt Pelt, I'd just like to say I always found fault with that Family Guy gag where they call out Lord of the Rings for having the plot hole where the eagles could of just flown Frodo to the Crack of Doom.
I really can't stand Counting Crows at all, but I'll be damned if Steven didn't win me over a bit there at the end.
I dunno… it's a great song, but I think I'd pick "Nightclubbing."
Some Kind of Munster, that is a good dance, but my favourite dance from Beavis and Butthead is the one they did whenever they heard a really mellow song, and they would sway their heads back and forth.
Just wanted to chime in that the Sherri Bobbins episode does indeed suck.
Did any of you people ever actually listen to old school rap at all?
Metal Machine Music is not something I'd ever really want to listen to, but it definitely did have an influence. Merzbow sounds pretty much exactly the same. Not that Merzbow is exactly a household name or anything, but there are certainly people out there that love this sort of shit. You've also got to at least…
I'm assuming those are the same tracks that show up as bonus cuts on the box set, because if so, they do indeed kick all kinds of ass.
"My Friend George" is great. It's probably my favourite track on the album along with the title track, "Down at the Arcade" and "High in the City."
New Sensations
My personal favourite of the 80's output (besides New York, but that one is more of a 90's album in spirit)… every track's a winner. Well I think there's maybe one track I'm not super in to.
yeah I'd have to say that Press Your Luck was definately the pinnacle of game show technology.
I remember in grade school they had some sort of a contest in class, and if you won, the prize was that they would give you Micheal Jackson's phone number.
back when I was a kid we used to call them "opposite jokes". They are a staple of pre-Simpsons sitcoms. "Cheers" and "Taxi" were lousy with them.
