Men Without Hats
Picked up that album out of a dollar bin at some point. It's actually a pretty solid album. Not necessarily a lost classic or anything, but definitely good.

the only one I've heard before is the Maroon 5 song (shudder) and that's cause I saw someone do it at karaoke once.

Tenacious D did perform the greatest song in the world, so it seems a bit demeaning to refer to them as a mere novelty band.

I haven't heard that one yet… i'll have to check it out. The song he did with the Killers was no bueno, and I do generally like the Killers. He sounded pretty bored on that one as well I suppose.
