I can vouch for not being able to locate a single restaurant that wasn't a fast food chain in Gallup, New Mexico. I think there was *maybe* one local Mexican place.

sounds like they're following the Myspace business model.

Jesus Knievel,

you people have seriously never heard "Lollipop" before? Seriously, that song was pretty much everywhere back in '08.

and by a "lot of people" I assume you mean "AV Club commentors"

what the fuck? are you people all high?

yeah Murphy seems like an alright guy and everything but their music never blew me away either… it's alright and all.

yeah where's the asshole that's gonna tell us that Scientology is no crazier than any other religion?

why? I thought that movie was pretty successful. I seem to remember it being nominated for oscars and all that shit.

yeah that threw me for a second there too.. i was all like "who the FUCK is that?"

yeah calzones are pretty awesome. I could see how they might not be great for a party though because you really need dipping sauce with a calzone, and it would be kind of hard to pull that off at a party without having to resort to double-dipping or some sort of awkward division of the sauce.

yeah what ever happened to that Outside trilogy?

Ryan O'Neal nailed that role. I've never seen him in anything else so I can't speak to his acting in general but he's great in that movie

actually I believe it was "retarded Irish folk singers".

yeah I'd go with 79 from the punk era…

i would have to say that the ending part of the song "Surf's Up" is about the best thing I've ever heard.

yeah "Cans and Brahms" is the only weak spot on a real powerhouse of an album… luckily it's a very short track.

Also, don't think anyone mentioned the first Velvet Underground album in '67 too I believe… might give that year the edge for me also.

double-posts are totally punk rock!

i love Pet Sounds but I do think it tends to be overrated by music-critic types.
