see I actually have the opposite reaction on rewatching these episodes. So many of the events that are tragic on initial viewing come off as extremely dark comedy on rewatching them.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that Ralphie killed the horse too, though we'll never know for sure.
I do like the subtle implication of sexual favours between Ralphie and Vito.
"He's just gonna march around a little bit!"
Morris Day and the Time are some of the nicest people I've ever met. And they make great music too. True story.
having seen both of them live i would have to concur with Greg that circa 2000 Flaming Lips blew Arcade Fire away.
if reading these comment boards has taught me anything, it's that I should NEVER, EVER, NEVER get a membership to a gym, because every time someone on here complains about having to hear some shitty song over and over, it's always because they heard it at the gym.
guys, guys… it's the internet. It's all bullshit.
I've never been there but reading the wikipedia entry on it does make it sound like a suburban hellhole. I've gotta give Wim Wenders or whatever his name is credit on that one.
Well… Pimp C didn't die from sleep apnea either… so I think that may be an example of what's known as "humor". Now whether it's good humor or not is debatable.
i think that's what half the songs on these compilations are. It's not even shit that was popular… it's shit the record company was trying to force on America.
yeah I have to admit I'm a sucker for that song too. I love any song with steel drum samples in it (see PIMP) and I'm also a sucker for dumb rap songs that tell you how to do a dance, and yeah Stanky Leg is a classic of the genre.
it seems to be the fashionable thing around here to rip on these guys right now, but you know what… they may be assholes, I don't know, never met them, but I don't think you could say they sold out. At least not musically. Their new music sounds pretty much the same as their old stuff more or less.
So, in other words, they're Canadians?
yes. Definitely check out Twitch. It's a lot more dancey and not heavy at all… but if you're into 80's dark synth pop at all I don't see how you can not love that album.
yeah I never liked "With Sympathy" but honestly, in retrospect I consider "Twitch" to be their best album.
I dunno… call me crazy, but I'd rather listen to the new sell-out Black Eye Peas over the early incarnation, if that video is representative.
there's really an almost unending list of musicians/bands that you could include in this inventory.
Nah… don't think he's a gimmick. Just has really shitty taste in music.
where does Slutty Daughter figure into that equation. And don't forget Nerdy Son.
