can't believe no-one's pointed this out yet so I will: that showcase of hyped Broadway productions they do at the beginning is always must-see TV for anyone that's into musical theater. I mean the Tony's draw what, 9 million viewers max? So the Macy's Parade really is like the Super Bowl for that sort of thing.
