I've always found Cersei sympathetic for some reason. Even when she's being an awful awful person, Lena Headey gives her character a lot more nuance. That scene at the dinner table, 2 weeks ago where she's eating with Sansa and her children for example - She goes from  a cold hearted monster to briefly sympathizing to

Yeah the material they gave Kalinda this season was sort of disappointing. She was sort of in the background this season which is surprising because Archie Panjabi has always been one of the strongest parts of the show for me.

Sunday really has too many shows. I already watch Mad Men and Game of Thrones and I've been intending to get into Veep and Girls but I haven't found the time.

It's not a bad thing. Community would have finished the week after otherwise which is after sweeps end. Airing it during sweeps week is a good thing.

I really like these analogies. I'm going to use that in the future!

Ok guys so some of you may remember I had mentioned that…SPOILER ALERT

I'm genuinely sorry. Sometimes I say mean things and later realize I'm getting annoyed by things I read on a message board!

I thought Community fans fell into two categories - The smart ones who can talk about the show like adults. The dumb childish ones who can never listen to any criticism of the show and insult other shows with stupid one liners.

I'm not American and I found that speech really affecting. Now go and f-ck yourself.

Wait are you describing Community or Parks? Parks doesn't deal with painfully constructed emotional pay offs, that's been trademarked by Community since the first season.

I loved this episode and I wasn't a huge fan of the previous live episode. Something just clicked in this one. It felt joyous and completely full of life while the previous one felt forced and stilted.

Lazy show? Looks like you're living in the evil timeline.

@avclub-a02b31e615fdb0ca3dbb5ca5408da418:disqus Parks wasn't in a same comedic league as the other two?

I think it works well as long as they're playing it out like a joke than something deeper. And Ann has consistently shown she has terrible taste in men (She dated Andy for heaven's sake).

I don't know the answer but your tone makes me think 'Yes'.

Ranking time! Let's rank the three NBC comedies (stopped watching The Office a long time ago). I thought 30 Rock, Community and Parks all had among their best episodes of the season tonight.

I found it better than you. There were several funny moment but overall this lacked that something that makes it more than a parody into something more meaningful (like the best Community episodes).

Honestly people are acting as if Parks has become a terrible show or something. It's not as densely packed with jokes as season 2 or 3 but it's got several laugh out loud moments every episode and compelling characters you can root for. That's more than most shows on television.

Jerry holding hands with the nuns was such a Jerry gag. He truly is both the
schlemiel and the schlamazel

Me too. That moment at the end when Leslie was delivering her closing statement was as rousing as the speech in any good sports or war film. The show manages to be hysterically funny and at the same time have so much heart.
