Yeah McHale didn't do a very good job at playing him. Gillian Jacobs more than made up for it though.

The Steppenwolf wives got me laughing for a minute straight.

Danny Pudi is really the MVP of the show for me. I mean I just really love Donald Glover and Gillian Jacobs.

Now let's hope Parks & Rec gets some of that syndication money. Surprised it hasn't got a deal already.

That climatic bit with Bobby and Angie walking towards each other while the acapella version of 'Kiss the Girl' is going on in the background was just so weird, warm and truly romantic.

Yay Nathan Ford's Evil Twin! The show really needs more fans especially since I think it's a perfect fit for fans of Parks & Rec and Community.

NBC is already the guardian of quality tv imo. It has Parks & Recreation, Community, 30 Rock, The Office (atleast it was great), Awake and had Chuck and Friday Night Lights.

Brilliantly said. That's why Leslie is one of the most admirable characters on television. She may be overly idealistic and optimistic but it comes from a place of wanting to affect real change.

I think the show is doing very well in terms of the satire. I mean it's storylines this season have tackled
1) A rich person with money to spend coasting on his family's fortune and connections - This is so true of politics today
2) The idea that people generally buy any nonsense that political parties throw at them
3)

I actually think that the show didn't make her too one dimensional. They show that she is willing to do anything to win the campaign for Bobby Newport but they never try to paint her as a villain or a shrew, it's just a woman who's doing her job and is much more politically savvy than Leslie and Ben.

I don't know what you mean but it had the cadence of a joke

Pawnee has so few tv show hosts, they need Perd Hapley and Joan Callemezzo to host multiple shows.

I liked that the show was realistic about the politics. Politics isn't a feelgood arena and by having Leslie interact with real life politics where experience and ideas don't matter but shrewdness plays a bigger role, the show is going into another level. What's better is that the show again demonstrates why it is so

When Mean Girls was released, Lohan was the most well known.

I'm happy to see the show has gotten better since it's first two episodes (which I thought were quite mediocre) but now the reason I don't want to watch more episodes is because the show has been getting poor ratings.

For all it's faults (badly written characters, cheesy production values, on the nose dialogue), I've always found the show strangely compelling.

I've read probably like every review of this show and I haven't watched a single episode. I'm sure there are several other people who enjoy reading these kind of reviews which rip apart shows especially ones like this which are filled with so much snark, it's entertaining.

For me nothing beats Telethon in terms of pure laughs. It's got so many running gags. Though I guess Fancy Party has got more in terms of pathos.

I love Leslie and Ben but Leslie and Dave to me was affecting in a way few tv relationships were. Amy Poehler and Louis CK had fantastic chemistry and I loved how low key their relationship was - it felt so real and subtle like real relationships are.
