Fuck all of this, yes it is a little ham handed but you have 43 minutes to tell a story!  Would you rather have an incremental flashback, showing over six seasons?  You begin with the gut punch, Draper born of a whore and raised in whorehouse and then build up from that.

Man, I understand I was too harsh in the comment but why would you want to see Don spiral down?  He gave us the Carousel speech didn't he?

Half-liked, you have a great premise then have to undercut it with the cheap "whore joke" (to be distinguished from the regular joke about a "cheap whore")

What happened to you Mr. Prezc as you watched this episode?   Are you the alternate universe version of me?  Did everything that filled me with wonder and awe make you say, "OHMIGOD what bullshit!"?  How is this possible?  Ultimately I cannot believe that is possible, but must rather attribute it to the "No love with

I liked the interplay between those who could communicate soberly and those who could interact drugged.  Ginsberg was on the general level while sober, but too cynical to get any real inspiration out of it.  Peggy while drunk was emphatic enough to catch on, but too self regarding to be mired in it.  Guy from other

I also like how that was a what prevented Peggy from helping Don, however she would.  Without even knowing it she was seduced by the Stan side.

This of anything I have seen produced by a TV network (roundabout descriptor cuz I watched on Amazon) is worth an A.  Goddammit doesn't it just makes you want to post screeds like Tarkovsky AD?

Because it's is druggy or because it has something specific to do with Don?  I haven't listened to "Tomorrow Never Knows" enough to know.

If Don weren't piece of shit he wouldn't be able to amaze us.  Tone down your moralizing or leave the show.

It doesn't really matter if anything (physical) is going on between them.  Only that the desire is there.  That is what Don picks up on.

I should read the review and comments before I post, as it is much more likely that Todd and the commentators would think of what I am thinking before I can post it, but goddammit I am too goddamn eager.  The key to this  episode is the flashback Don has when he sees Ted and Peggy in the room together.  Don, prior to

Look upon my tits ye mighty, and despair.

Remember the one where she has the flu and dreams that Ferguson is a devil tearing up her insides?  That still kinda freaks me out.

Everybody here is Mara Jade-d.

Pete's transforming into Lucky from King of the Hill!

Are you Bob Cratchit?

Following a transporter accident the Dowager Countess finds herself in *most* unusual circumstances.

Check out "Stray Dog" if you want to see another subdued Mifune performance.

I can't see him as anything but an adventurer.  Everyone is right to look down on him.
