Hehe you said I like Bush. Hehe.  Bush.

Wait, do you mean to say that the name of Ryan Adams, alt-country musician formerly of Whiskeytown, sounds like Bryan Adams, Canadian rocker known for the song "Summer of 69"???  Because that is truly a remarkable coincidence, and could be quite confusing for some to keep track of.  It's really great that you pointed

Oh, shitsnacks, I had no idea Crooked Fingers was releasing an LP this year, but that's great to hear.  Haven't been truly disappointed by any of their albums yet, and I hope this is as good as Noel says.

I'm going to watch this for the Baby Jesus.

Michael Shannon:  Creepy actor, or creepiest actor?

Frightened Rabbit, WWPJ, and The Twilight Sad are all pretty fucking awesome, and not coincidentally all have fantastic Scottish accents.

What is this "Maine" you speak of?  Sounds a bit made-up, if you ask me.

It's going to take a lot more than this review to convince me that this doesn't have Nic Cage or Paul Walker in it.

Something something Rage Against the Machine

@avclub-c1fe85b855c6d045b827f74a1e2c3fd7:disqus   I envy you for both your concert experience and your endearingly humorous diction

Yup, the day that Adam Sessler leaves G4 will be the day I stop having any reason at all to watch it.  As Ryan pointed out, X-Play isn't quite as entertaining as it used to be, but it's nice to have at least one show on TV that covers video games.

My mother has worked for Borders for the past 20 years, and now she has to find a job in this shitty economy - and in the state of Michigan, which if you haven't heard is kind of lacking in the whole jobs department.

I bet your mom would be happy with an oral history! Amirite?

Yeah, I genuinely love this movie, and I've been making it a tradition to watch it on TCM every July 4th. As pretty much everyone has said, it's far from perfect, but fucking William Daniels is the man.

Why does everyone always have to present their stupid opinions as fact? Can't you just say that you don't personally find Jay-Z or Kanye all that good at what they do, without making stupid claims and getting into stupid arguments about whether someone is "overrated?"

Eh, Amistad isn't crap. Not saying it's anywhere near one of his better films, and it's corny as shit, but it isn't horrible.

The use of the word "etheric" as opposed to ethereal is really bothering me, but I suppose the review is fine otherwise. Especially since he uses "airy" a few words later, which is redundant.

Hype it Up
I was so excited for Spore when it was originally announced - the concept and scope seemed so unique and rich with potential. And then they released the creature creator, and I was still pretty excited, because that was pretty fun to play around with. Sadly, the release of the actual game brought me down

As someone who was very young at the time, I've never quite understood the importance leveled upon Cobain's death, especially since I'm not a huge Nirvana fan. Not to sound like a huge douchebag, either, but I've always had a bit of resentment towards people that talk about what a huge tragedy it was, and how

Blood Bank is pretty good too (if you're a Bon Iver fan, at least). So there's that.
