Grading?
Was this supposed to be an A+, or is that just another grading slip-up thingy? In any case, I wasn't feeling this one quite as much as Todd, though it did pick up a bit towards the end. The whole ISIS going green thing didn't really do much for me, outside of the gag with not telling Pam about the women's

Thanks, that was a fascinating piece. The sad thing is, I can easily imagine why the Full Fathom Five deal would be so appealing for an M.F.A. student, but it sounds like it's just about the oiliest crock of shit operation out there.

This Will Be
A Little Flop of Horrors.

IIRC, Jennings himself would hunt for Daily Doubles fairly frequently during his stretch on the show. Most players stick to one category at a time, but it's not too uncommon to see.

Yeah, it seemed like both Ken and Brad were getting pretty frustrated with getting beat to the punch, especially in the first game. As a trivia nerd myself, it's honestly one of the most annoying feelings in the world to know the right answers but not get the chance to answer.

MIB was the best blockbuster of the 1990s. Dare to disagree, bitches.

Yeah, the whole thing was not very well thought out and a bit bizarre (as per usual). The reasoning for Sue joining glee club, the reasoning for having CHORD OVERSTREET sing Justin Bieber songs, the flannel shit - it was a bit baffling. For a very brief second, I thought we were going to get a Glee version of "The

Disturbed to discover that
There was a character on Glee acting inconsistent with the show's previous depiction of them? I'm shocked, I tell you, shocked!

Cartoon Network will be redeemed for their shitty programming when the fucking Samurai Jack movie comes out. So probably never.

MJ
I'm sure many of America's youth would have loved to have escaped from the looming specter of Michael Jackson.

Not Too Shabby
I kinda like it; feels like a power-pop version of Death Cab for Cutie - which might not sound all that appealing, but it works pretty well. And "Please Ask for Help" is one of the better ripoffs of The Cure that I've heard lately.

The oddest thing about this is that they seem to have selected the single most illogical argument that you could possibly make. From what I can understand, the objection is that someone playing the game that kills a bunch of people in some fashion will be convinced to gang rape people because a message pops up that

Yeah, if I recall correctly, there was some kind of initiative from the Office of National Drug Control Policy in the late 90s that would basically give a TV show money for doing an episode centered on the perils of drugs or alcohol. That brilliant idea gave us the spectacularly shitty 'Beer Bad' episode of Buffy

Month of May is probably the most straightforward-sounding rock song on The Suburbs, though, so I can see why they thought it would play at the Grammys. If they had done Suburban War or something, that would have been cool, but who gives a fuck, it's the fucking Grammys.

Eh, both Mumford & Sons and Florence + the Machine are okay in my book. They aren't great, but they both have made some pretty catchy songs, and if you wanna compare their music to most of the shit that gets nominated for a Grammy, it starts to sound even better.

Huzzah!
Really fucking excited to play this, since video games + trivia + sarcastic humor is a formula pretty much tailor-made for me. I really hope they support this with lots of additional DLC questions (as they said they will), since I figure that 73 sets of 10 won't be enough.

He was pretty good as an asshole in Band of Brothers. Just sayin'.

IGN reviews all forms of media that aren't video games in some kind of weird fanboy bubble, where pretty much anything will get at least a decent score if it focuses on some aspect of what they perceive to be nerd culture. Their movie reviews are pretty much a joke - something has to be truly fucking awful to get

*Golf clap*

Nice review, Rowan. What did you think about the controls? I've read a few reviews that mentioned issues with the way that they had the spell types mapped (I would think it would be ideally suited for a console port, based on what I've read). Not that it matters for me, since I have a Mac, but this looked like a
