Awesome Premiere
Wow, I have to say that was a fantastic episode. Everything about it, the plot, the macabre humor, the creepy atmosphere (very nice score this week), all of it seemed to be running near perfectly. Agreed that the new girl was a little stiff, and I couldn't help but feel like she's mainly just a

I would get a giant boner if Charles de Lint and Neil Gaiman wrote a novel together, but somehow I don't think that was what Tasha meant.

Oh haha! Because you're talking about Cory Doctorow, and he writes about that shit! And many think he is a giant douche! Haha!

Sounds like
From this description it sounds very similar to Butcher's 'Dresden Files' (though, to be fair, so does almost all urban fantasy to me) and I love me some Dresden Files. Haven't heard of this before, but it sounds promising and I will have to check it out. Thanks Donna!

Wait, is that a Zoolander or an Arrested Development reference? Or a sincere comment?

Batman Begins is flawed, but fucking awesome, especially compared to every other take on Batman prior to it. And by flawed I mainly mean "containing Katie Holmes". And Liam Neeson can play whatever the fuck he wants (and he's actually a decent choice for Ra's al Ghul, even without his awesomeness).

Agreed on Liquid Swords. I could pretty much loop Shadowboxin' all day long and never get tired of it.

Maybe it's set in a society where disease has rendered humanity blind, and the only way to conduct naval warfare is to sit around in the ocean guessing where shit is.

Oh, and Steve, is there still a plan to review Epitaph One before the new season starts (or did I miss the review and am just being a giant douche)? Cuz that was ballin' and had the guest casting of Felicia Day, to boot.

And Keith Carradine. Yeah. Not all that excited for him, but hey, the rest are frakkin' awesome.

I've been looking forward to this for a long time. With this and Blueprint 3 (admittedly not as good as Raekwon) out now, my faith in hip-hop has been partially restored (though I still have no idea how I Gotta Feeling is still the number one song on iTunes - who is still buying that shit?).

Statute of Limitations
Is it still acceptable for me to like Fleet Foxes, or are they now fodder for the irony and cynicism of the hispters? Because I still kind of like em, and though I haven't heard The Dodos before, this review kinda makes me want to check em out despite the mediocre grade.

No love for Raekwon? I mean, I too agree that Mrs. Johannson has lovely characteristics, including breasts, but c'mon! We're talking about the Wu! Get on that shit, Rabin (or whoever else gets assigned the hip-hop).

Yes, and ODB was likely high out of his motherfuckin mind. Kanye is just crazy and egotistic. Wu Tang!

Orson Scott Card has a kind of homoerotic fascination with Tyler Perry, and thinks that he's a visionary and talented writer. Or so I am led to believe. By myself. Orson Scott Card is also a huge douche. Hence, by the transitive property, Tyler Perry is a huge douche.

What's This?
An MMO without a compelling story? Repetitive quests? Different environments? Customization of characters? Scores of bugs? By golly, what will they think of next that they haven't already made a couple years ago when it was called City of Heroes?

Breasts! This movie contains women in low-cut clothing with boobs! Now go see it!

Or they could just not kill them, and the movie would just be filled of teens showering and partying. And it could be distributed through late night pay cable and pay-per-view, and people could pleasure themselves to its wonders. Someone make me that movie!

Well, Kingdom Come was utter shit, through and through, and the few samples I've heard of Blueprint 3 sounded decent, so I'll remain, as always, cautiously optimistic until I get around to downloading this.

Um, that is bullshit. Pistons return to form and win an NBA title, reaching the Eastern Conference Finals seven (or so) consecutive years. The Red Wings continue to dominate, the Lions utterly collapse after the early retirement of Barry Sanders. The Tigers have one of the most quick and amazing turnarounds in all
