Like you care, but I will express my thoughts anyway
My personal classics:
- Ham on Rye - Bukowski
- It Happened In Boston - Russell Greenan
- Skinny Legs and All - Tom Robbins
- Ramona the Brave - Beverly Cleary
- Kafka on the Shore - Murakami
- A Prayer for Owen Meany - John Irving

Hate, hate, hate Flashman. I guess it's because I have ovaries, and mentally I'm not a 14 year old boy.

My young'un is almost 5—her favorite songs are King of The Road and (The Angels Wanna Wear My) Red Shoes. We have a strict no Disney Channel music policy in my car, and I plan to keep it that way. Death to Hannah Montana and her ilk.

When will the Dolly post be up????
Dying to know what you thought of my favorite hillbilly bombshell. Damn, I love me some Dolly Parton.

Since this thread seems to be hijacked to be a Hal Hartley discussion, let's just throw some love out there for No Such Thing. My favorite monster movie ever. Sarah Polley gets a lifetime pass from me for that one.

I especially love the theme song to that series. Occasionally it will get stuck in my head for a day or two and I walk around solemnly intoning "fishing with John…fishing with John."

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one lulled to sleep each night by the soothing presence of Sam Waterston. I'm pretty sure I've seen the beginning of every episode of L&O—the endings not so much.
