I like their Ep, but I consider Bugg'n to be vastly superior to the other tracks, even though I can see that Higher Ground would work better in a club environment.
I think I'd prefer them in a smaller (and packed) venue.
I thought the Raiders were considered more inept than the Vikings? Things are at least comparatively looking better for the Vikings now, especially considering that you're playing against the Chiefs in your division (who are bound to improve the coming season) and, you know, Peyton.

After listening to the JV Club episode where Gillian Jacobs guests it's hard not to adore her.
My worst experience of knocking something over was when I was at this bank in Uruguay which had a marble flooring. Somehow, probably because the place was packed, I managed to tip this old-timey solid metal sign over which resulted in a very, very loud "CLANG".
I too, spend too much time reading about pop culture rather than actually consuming it.

Well, a bad choice if you are looking for a faithful adaption I guess but I'm sure that wasn't what the studio prioritized (which was probably getting someone with a proven record in regards to action films).

I wouldn't say it's necessarily disrespectful. If you're hired as a director and already got a script to work with maybe you don't to want your idea of what the movie should be like bogged down by reading the source material?
To me it seems a bit far-fetched drawing conclusions regarding his intellectual curiosity based on that short statement.
