Just Popped In To Say...

I guess we should just be thankful that neither of those GMA girls said "I didn't know he was in Twilight!"

To be fair, this was the weekend crew, of which I believe both women are mid-30s. But as @kitjackson1967:disqus mentioned, it may have been a case of trying to play to a younger female audience. Still, there's NO excuse for "…one of the biggest roles of his career in The Notebook"

I also responded to this news by shouting FUCK! at my TV this morning. And then it also occurred to me that 86 is a pretty good run. However, once the female anchors of Good Morning America made it clear that their only familiarity with him was as Old Ryan Gosling, I got angry all over again.

ASS TO ASS

I was wondering if some people might have taken advantage of the event to "disappear" someone to the backyard or whatnot and claim they were part of the Rapture.

My 70 year-old mother watches Hannibal, which would be a lot cooler if she also actually watched it.

I believe my own dear Nana had a similar reaction, and it is truly amazing to think of how many giant moments she experienced in her lifetime (1900-1992).

Probably taking my own first small steps, oddly enough.

It used to make me angry that Hannibal and
The Americans went to Amazon Prime instead of
Netflix, where they could've easily doubled their audiences. Then I read the Netflix Facebook comments and thought better of it. They may be the shows that they need, but they deserve more of The Following.

Especially brutal considering IIRC, it was also the first episode to include Amber Benson in the opening credits. It was quite the dramatic shift from "Yay! Tara finally made it to the Main Cast!" to "NOOOOO!"

If this is the blind item you're referring to, the reveal wasn't nearly as interesting.

I will now be majorly disappointed if the wedding
doesn't include Blutbad groom & Fuchsbau bride
cake-toppers. Hopefully it'll be less bloody, though.

She was showing her support for Will Butler. It's just a Reflektor…dress.

I have a weird feeling it might actually happen. As you said, it's the only way Wolf is winning anything, and Dallas Buyers Club's win is a lock with Leto. It's DiCaprio's 4th nomination vs. McConaughey's 1st, and the Academy rewarding careers over specific performances isn't unheard of. Also, McConaughey will have

I also have a thing for scrappy underdogs, and was thrilled when he won the BAFTA.

I hope that's not a joke, because I'm rather embarrassed to admit that I always thought that as well. I had no idea she was a Carradine until now, and spent the whole episode just being excited about the Deadwood reunion.

"Even when the writing failed to build the tension, the score managed to pick up a good part of the slack."

I believe this would fall within Miniseries territory, though. So yes, they should just go ahead and engrave both of those Emmys now.
