It happened to me, too. I think either P&R ran a minute late or FX started Sunny a minute early.

On a lighter note, I did love the first meeting of Ice King and Marceline in Marceline's cave. Ice King flies away, Marceline floats away, and poor Gunther just stares up at them, unable to fly, and dejectedly walks back to the Ice Kingdom.

I just loved how defeated the Ice King was when he said that, like he's gone through similar situations so many times before he no longer even bothers to get angry when things like that happen to him.

He was just looking for a new bang-maid.

"The Mouse and the Mask" was the first CD I reviewed for my college paper. It's minor Doom, but it's always going to have a lot of meaning for me.

Off topic, but whenever I hear about G4, I always think of the AV Club's late and lamented "TV Oultand" feature. This is a network that only has Attack of the Show, X-Play, and millions of reruns of Ninja Warrior as its programs. Almost ten years after not being TechTV, how does this network still have no content?

@avclub-65e3468335bd523ce8bf5ef4e08ad4f4:disqus Because the premise of the draft is to determine what ethnicity mixed-race people belong to. Tiger Woods and Lenny Kravitz are mixed raced. Colin Powell's a straight-up black guy. The joke was that white delegation didn't care and simply took him because he was the most…

I wonder if there's an opposite Inventory of things that weren't big in their home country but got big in America. For example, I've always heard that Monty Python's Flying Circus, while well-regarded in the UK, doesn't have the fanatic devotion it does here in the US. It's pretty much what most people here think of…

It doesn't really matter what happened in the first six issues of Justice League Dark. Issues 7 and 8 were a crossover with I, Vampire. Lemire remade the team in issue 9. The original story arc was dropped. I'm probably going to stop JLD soon.

I understand the numerical love for 52 — the 52 versions of Earth in the old DCU, 52 weeks in a year, the weekly series from a few years back 52 — but that is a lot of comics to read. I'm not surprised a Hawkman title isn't selling well. I'm surprised DC actually thought of putting it out in the first place.
