I understand the numerical love for 52 — the 52 versions of Earth in the old DCU, 52 weeks in a year, the weekly series from a few years back 52 — but that is a lot of comics to read. I'm not surprised a Hawkman title isn't selling well. I'm surprised DC actually thought of putting it out in the first place.

The Cape? Now I can't get that stupid NBC show out of my head.

Batman, Inc is streamlined Morrison. It's pretty much "Batman + Guest Star + Wacky Foreign Version of Batman vs. Wacky Foreign Enemy tied to Leviathan." Its like the cartoon Batman: Brave and the Bold, but slightly more "mature."

Since you like Animal Man, I'm required by law to suggest you check out Scott Snyder's Swamp Thing. The two are obviously going to cross over soon. (Well, they already kinda did in Animal Man Annual #1.) Snyder's story is easily enough to get into if you know very little about ol' Swampy (like I did), but it still

I'm always looking for more ways to add at least half an hour to the movies I watch on TV. Thanks, FX!

If I remember correctly, MTV hired Holmes like a month after the "Wanna Be a VJ" contest ended. He's been hanging around and doing non-specific but competent hosting duties for a variety of stuff, like FX's "DVD on TV." He's made a career out of being a former VJ/all purpose host.

The problem with Hayden Christensen at the end of RotJ are twofold. One, there's no way Luke would recognize his ghost, since he's only seen his father without the mask when he's old and dying. Two, it shows that Anakin can commit genocide against the Jedi and  kill thousands of innocent people but still be young in

It's funny because of how much later episodes of South Park would suck at the Randian-teat.

People can't really understand how faddish South Park seemed when it first aired. I remember the day after winter break 1998 when, literally, two out of three kids came back to high school wearing South Park t-shirts. The other third wore theirs the next day. During those high school years, I probably went through

"Comedy Central has still not gotten over losing this show.  Since 2005, a number of stand-up comedians have had their own sketch comedy shows, and just about all of them have met with lackluster reviews or ratings."

The Conan interview from last year was pretty dramatic, just because Conan seemed more depressed than I'd ever heard him before.
