Thank you, Abelard.
Thank you, Abelard.
This is one of those bands I'm surprised are still around.
Whenever my brother and I hear a turgid modern rock song we can't identify on the radio, we always assume it's Seether or Breaking Benjamin. More often than not, it is.
I guess if the waterfront development is held up in court, then people will be mad at Adams, who promised waterfront development? Or maybe Adams' constitunacy will vote for him anyway, hoping the waterfront problem gets solved?
Because she's an evil Indian.
I guess Linden's thought process is that since his wife drowned, Richmond would be obsessed with recreating that situation. Except we (the audience) knows Richmond's wife *didn't* drown. She was killed by a drunk driver, right? The minor details of this show just wash over me, with me not really caring.
Wait, where exactly can I find this episode? I've never even heard of it until now.
Unrelated to the episode
I found a stuffed Ein on sale at an FYE about five years ago. I was supposed to be getting it for the then-girlfriend, but we broke up before it was delivered. So now I have a cute stuffed Corgi in my closet. Nerdy girls look at it and fall in love with it.
Ein is capable of turning on and off Ed's computer, as well as answering any incoming calls. He's left to barking at whoever's on screen, though.
I've been quoting that RV line for years. What really sells the scene, though, is Mulder and Sheriff Luke Wilson just emptying bullet after bullet into the RV and not stopping it.
This movie won't be made.
Because halfway through, everyone will just give up when they realize finishing the game between the last two players will take hours.
I prefer Settlers of Catan. Thrill during the 15 minute "Will anyone trade for some brick?" scene in the upcoming Catan movie.
I agree with Nabin's earlier argument about how all "inside baseball"-style critiques of Hollywood are pretty much the same. I've written most of them off, sight-unseen. I don't think this one's going to change my mind. It seems much more interesting as an essay than as a movie.
They laugh together. At least there's something the two of them agree on.
You're crumbelievable.
I'd love to hear about the time she made her own Catwoman costume and harassed Tim Burton into putting in Batman Returns.
Judd Winnick wrote (still writes) for DC comics. Almost all of his comics touch on themes found in the Real World, even in the superhero series.
Yeah, it looks similar to the NA chip Jesse has on "Breaking Bad." Only a few more weeks, people!
Am I just missing something?
There were strong implications that Jack was the foster child "stuck in the system" because his dad murdered his mom, right? And therefore he's resentful of Linden and snuck out to visit his dad (on parole?) Almost on the dot, the sound on my digital cable starts to stutter every Sunday…
The blood and guts isn't a huge factor, if I'm actually remembering correctly. The only major 'edit' Adult Swim did, I think, is digitally erasing what appeared to be two men in bed together. So now it's just one man apparently having sex with air.
Sorry, they are ogling her. Her breast is in the foreground and the camera focuses on it too long. We, the audience, are also supposed to ogle her. Luckily, Bebop rarely puts in that type of blatant fanservice. The only other instance of blatant fanservice I can think of is when Faye awakens and you can obviously see…
