Yeah I don't think Finlay is a bully, just blunt in an old tough Irish bastard way.

They have a pretty good shot at the moment of elevating their game. Cena is, of all people, in two big comedies this year with critically-acclaimed "comic's comics," in Trainwreck and the Tina Fey-Amy Poehler movie this December. There's people that watch Total Divas on E! but not wrestling, so they're at least…
I remember in his AoW podcast he talked about how much he hated working out, and even talked about an early training story where Finley called him a fat sack of crap or something. He said he looked up at Ace Steel and saw an expression of pity. You'd think that would've scared him straight… but maybe the guy just…
The thing about Bryan is, he's kind of the equivalent of a Jimmy Fallon on SNL (hear me out). He's not the best actor in the world, but you can sense he's having so much fun, it makes the viewer have fun with him. Look at his character during his emotionally-abusive boyfriend run with AJ. Nobody really bought that,…
That can't have been the only reason they cut the guy. Hell, they're pushing Samoa Joe and Owens to the moon.
I don't know if it's the worst-written in years. There were some pretty dark times before Punk's pipe-bomb. The days of endless Cena-Orton feuds. At least now we have The Shield guys, Cesaro, Ziggler, Bryan (sometimes), Owens, Cena down to a mid card level, New Day, the recent NXT women call-ups and the inevitable…
This is a very good, and scary, point. I can't remember when wrestling had this much buzz to it apart from the late-90s boom, yet it doesn't seem to translate when the rubber hits the road, so to speak. This must be driving Vince and the gang nuts.
Comics, I love ya but with Secret Wars and whatever DC's done twice in two years… I have no idea what the fuck is going on.
Now it's Marge's time to shine!
Wrestling seems to be like comics right now- they're gaining newfound respectability and mainstream attention even when sales (or ratings) are down. It's weird.
The problem being, does that guy know when to quit? I think Bryan would never potentially end up like a Dynamite Kid or Benoit (who was kind of a shitty guy to begin with), but I could easily see him end up like Droz if he's not careful, or a Foley if he's lucky.
And getting contact highs.
Nigel would be a good autobiography, too. His Art of Wrestling interview was really interesting.
How awesome would that book be, especially if he wrote it? Apparently he grew up in public housing where gangs would strong-arm him into selling drugs.
You really are an Ultimate Warrior fan, then.
If it makes you feel any better, Vince is rich enough to donate to Trump's campaign until the day he dies… in 2078.
Yeah, I saw that on /r/SquaredCircle. The rare downer ending of an inspirational book.
Nash veers from having an incredible mind for the business, and then completely not knowing what the fuck he's talking about.
Congrats on the new apartment. I had one in NYC for a year, and while there were no screaming fights, there was no real chemistry either. A good roommate that can become a good bud makes all the difference.
Almost like he had money and fame.
