Asylum movies could be a lot better, though. Roger Corman and Troma have a more consistent quality output than Asylum.

People just kept reading the AV Club.

No love for Tina Fey, Bill Hader, Amy Poehler, Adam MacKay, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Chris Parnell, Phil Hartman?

You're either really old or an incredibly dedicated elitist hipster.

I liked his review for Joe Dirt 3, though.

Wait, are you two the same people?

…that last sentence made me want to watch this show. But with Homer as the lead.

Granted, I'm sure my comment seemed dismissive, but it was really more of a lament over the dying of a genre. But seriously, you're gonna dismiss Kendrick Lamar, Kanye, Lorde, etc? There's some seriously good hip-hop out now.

If you put every member of those bands in a giant police lineup with a bunch of grad students living in Bushwick nobody in America could tell who was who.

I'm a sucker for Simpsons reruns.

To me, it might not be a question as to whether they're better than the cast from the 2004ish movie, but whether they'd be better than their competition, aka most of Hollywood.

Oddly enough, Michael B. Jordan might be the cast member I'm most okay with. I don't know anyone else in this thing, aside from Billy Elliott playing a tough Brooklyn Jew.

I don't think the internet decided darkness isn't fun, just that shoehorning darkness into every single thing isn't fun. When I think of the Fantastic Four, I don't think of a dreary slog.

Selling is one of Rusev's strengths. I wouldn't think he'd be hurt already. At least I hope not.

God bless you, Austin Acosta, for standing up for the incredibly marginalized and vulnerable white race. See you at Stormfront!

I think her and Edgar broke up more than a year ago. Between that and Ant-Man, it's not been good times for Edgar.

I'm certainly rooting for you. Feel free to share your twitter or YouTube handle and hopefully some AVClubbers will support one of their own.

I went to college in Kansas City. It wasn't for me, but then again, watch it get cool after I leave.

How long do you plan on working and living in Missouri? I can see not buying into the NYC/LA trap, but hell… why not split the difference and check out Chicago or Atlanta?
